EventsTony Black: Monday 8th March, 6.30pm-8pm. Tony Black is the author of “Loss” and “Paying for it” and is one of the Scotland’s most exciting new crime writers. Tony’s gritty, hard edged stories featuring private investivator Gus Dury have drawn comparisons with Ian Rankin, Irvine Welsh and Denise Mina. Black is “a compelling and convincing portrayer of raw emotions in a vicious milieu”. (The Times). As part of the Crime in the City season this is a free event, but please contact the library to book a place.
