Butchart Bequest

A selection of hand coloured engravings and lithographs showing Edinburgh in the nineteeth and early twentieth centuries is on display in the Edinburgh Room from the 1st July - 29th August. They form part of a collection donated to the library by Robert Butchart who was Edinburgh City Librarian from 1942-53.
