Your guide to your tenancy

Services for Communities is the Council department responsible for local housing, community safety and waste services across the city. Our services are neighbourhood based and local communites are involved in their planning, monitoring and improvement.

In the pages below you will find information about the services we provide to help make sure you are happy and safe in your home. We can help you organise repairs, help you make sure your rent is paid on time and give you advice about how to keep good relationships with your neighbours.

If you have any questions you can phone your neighbourhood office to speak to someone or to make an appointment to visit the office. If you are unable get to your neighbourhood office a Housing Officer can visit you.

You can also drop in to your neighbourhood office during normal opening hours for advice and information.
