An overview of Waste Aware Edinburgh Campaign, the Council’s recycling and waste prevention plans and what residents can do to reduce, reuse and recycle waste. 

Information on the Waste Action Grant Programme and what happens to your recycled waste can also be included.

Volunteers from the Edinburgh Real Nappy Project talk to parents wishing to try using reusable nappies for their children.






Arts and crafts workshop

Art workshopCreate some practical and fun crafts and artworks with Alchemy Arts volunteers by reusing scrap items and recycled products. Options include making puppets, wind chimes, masks, games, books and other crafty workshops.  We also run seasonal scrap workshops for Halloween and Christmas.

There is a small charge for these fun workshops of £2 per person to cover the cost of the scrap items provided.
