The Edinburgh Partnership

The Edinburgh Partnership, established in June 2003, is the Community Planning partnership for the city of Edinburgh.

A recent review of the community planning structures in Edinburgh has led to a new structure (Word, 55kB) for partnership working that focuses on delivering outcomes. Read this document for details of membership, responsibilities and links to our partners' websites.

What the Edinburgh Partnership does

The Edinburgh Partnership leads joint action to address key issues facing people living and working in the city. The Community Plan for Edinburgh 2008 - 2011 sets out the following priorities for the Partnership:

  • sustainable economic growth
  • maximisation of land use and affordable housing
  • investment in prevention and care services, health improvement and social inclusion
  • environmental sustainability and climate change.
