Social Care leaflets and publications

The Health and Social Care Department produce a number of leaflets for adults needing social care services - the titles are listed below. You can also obtain the leaflets on this page by contacting Social Care Direct on 0131 200 2324.

Some social work units (such as homes for older people or children's centres) or specialist services (such as Family Focus or the Special Needs Employment Team) have their own leaflets. You can obtain these by contacting the unit direct.

You can also obtain information in community languages, Braille, large print and audio tape. Contact the Interpretation and Translation Service on 242 8181 for further information.
