Last year, people in Edinburgh met to talk about what services adults with learning disabilities need. NHS Lothian and the City of Edinburgh Council have made a plan for the next 10 years. In March, the Council agreed to the plan and we are now in year one.

There are 3 important things in the plan.

  1. People will have more choice and control of their services.
  2. There will be better local services for people who need a lot of help.
  3. The council needs to make the money go further.

We'd like to hear from you about the plan. You can do this by filling in a questionnaire (-or get someone to help you) and send it back to us. You can also come to a group. Please contact Helen Morgan for more information.
