Liberton/ Gilmerton lies to the south east of the City. The ward covers the area from Dalkeith Road and the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh to the east and the city bypass to the south. Residential areas include Liberton, Burdiehouse, Gracemount, Gilmerton, Moredun, Ellen's Glen and Nether Liberton.
