The Achievement Awards are your opportunity to shout about the great work you and your colleagues produce on behalf of Children and Families. They recognise and reward excellence and best practice and are vital to enable us all to celebrate success!

Now in their eleventh year, the awards are a prestigious event in the Children and Families calendar. They are judged by a panel of representatives from across the department and partner agencies. Councillor MacLaren chairs the judging panel that includes Gillian Tee and other senior decision makers.

All categories are open to teams of staff from Children and Families, with the Youngedinburgh Citizenship Award also open to individuals.

Winners receive a trophy and £400 for their establishment.

This year we have some exciting prizes to give away every two weeks, including meal and shopping vouchers! Every nominator will be entered for our prize draw in the two week period they nominate in. Prizes are kindly donated by CIS who bring you the Staff Benefits scheme.

Successful teams in the past have gone on to appear on radio and television to speak about their projects and experiences...could it be your team this year?
