Welcome to my report for June.
This is my last report before the Council recess, during which the cycle of formal committee meetings adjourns for four weeks. My next report is due in August. I have therefore taken the opportunity to reflect and update on a number of the issues which have featured previously such as : the City's Economic Resilience Plan; the provision of affordable homes; and Edinburgh's Single Outcome Agreement. I have also reported on many of the sporting, cultural and community based events which have taken place across the city and initiatives planned over the summer.
I hope that you find this report interesting. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have suggestions or comments that you feel could improve how the Council operates, or if you wish to simply offer a view on any matter.
