Get Up and Go 2009-2010

Get up and go is an activities and opportunities programme aimed at people aged 50 years and over, including elders from the black minority ethnic community. It provides details of social, educational, cultural, sport and leisure opportunities that are currently running throughout the city.

Get up and go has been developed in line with a City for All Ages - the city plan for older people. It is about improving opportunities and services for older people and removing discrimination towards them so that Edinburgh can truly become a city for all ages.
