BiodiversityThe Council is responsible for the protection and enhancement of the City's landscape and natural environment. A Biodiversity Action Plan has been prepared for the City of Edinburgh Council Area. The Council can provide advice on a wide range of wildlife and nature conservation issues in Edinburgh, including landscape, biodiversity, protected species, urban forestry, habitat creation, access, open space, Green Belt and sustainability.
