The Tenants Incentive Scheme is being piloted by the Council to provide further help to Council tenants who are looking to move from homes with three or more bedrooms and who now need a smaller home.

If you're interested in this scheme you can contact your Housing Officer at your local Neighbourhood Office.  To get a move you will need to be registered with EdIndex and under the Choice system you can choose the area and property type you want to bid for.

Under this scheme we may be able to help you with:

  • Removals
  • Decoration Vouchers
  • Supply of white goods such as cookers, washing machines and fridges
  • Disconnection / reconnection of white goods i.e. electric cooker or washing machine
  • Decoration

To help answer some of your questions about the scheme we've put together a list of Questions and Answers or if you would like more information on this scheme you can contact your Neighbourhood Office or EdIndex Team on 0131 529 5080 or e mail Edindex@edinburgh.gov.uk
