Outdoor Learning

The City of Edinburgh Council owns three centres which provide a wide range of outdoor adventurous activities: 

• Bangholm Outdoor Centre - A non-residential purpose-built centre situated within the City.
• Benmore Centre for Outdoor Education - A residential centre situated just north of Dunoon in Argyll, Scotland.
• Lagganlia Outdoor Centre - A residential centre situated near Aviemore, Scotland.

The City of Edinburgh Council holds an adventure activities licence. This means that we have been independently inspected by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority and provide activities to the highest possible safety standards.
