Council Venues and Halls

Located in the heart of the New Town, this beautiful 18th century building is one of Edinburgh 's most attractive multi-purpose venues. The rooms are available for hire for a range of events including conferences, dinners, receptions, weddings, fairs, meetings, exhibitions, performances and ceilidhs.  The Assembly Rooms is also a well-established festival venue for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Hogmanay celebrations.

The Assembly Rooms is now closed for Assembly Rooms Refurbishment Project and will reopen in the summer of 2012.
