Change in your address or circumstances re Council tax
Moving within Edinburgh or out of Edinburgh
It is your responsibility to notify us when you move to a new address within Edinburgh or move away to an address not serviced by City of Edinburgh Council. You need to inform us of the details of the property you are moving from and the property you are moving to, so you can stop paying Council tax for your old address, if you are no longer liable.
You should also tell us:
-
if someone joins or leaves the household
-
if the property becomes empty and unfurnished
-
if there is any other change that may affect your entitlement to reductions.
You can tell us your changed details by completing our Report a change of address, circumstances or personal details online form. Depending on your circumstances, some or all of the following may be relevant to tell us. Owning your property
