Annual Performance Report

The Annual Performance Report (APR) is a key document for the Council which pulls together performance information in a single user friendly document.

The report tells you what we did last year to improve our services and how we performed. We aim to present a balanced picture of our achievements and performance against the targets we set, including where our performance needs to be improved.

While this year's report shows many examples of recent improvements, we will continue to strive to improve the operation of our services, taking account of the constrained financial context in which we operate and the requirement to meet priority needs. We will also continue to pursue cultural change within the organisation to help deliver high quality outcomes for service users.

The report covers:

• how well we are managing our money
• what outcomes we are achieving
• what people say about the Council.
