Key Priorities

Good progress is being made towards the delivery of the Council and Edinburgh Partnership Single Outcome Agreement (SOA).

The majority of local outcomes in the SOA were assessed to be on schedule (52%) or to have made some progress (45%). We report annually to the Scottish Government on progress.

Areas of notable performance include outcomes for the economy, affordable housing, attainment of primary and secondary school pupils and safety from crime, disorder and danger.  These, and other improvements, are excellent examples of where Council and partner actions are having a positive impact on people's lives.
