If you have difficulty getting to the library because of your age or disability, there are a couple of ways the library can come to you. If you sign up for either of the services below, you will also be entitled to free CD and DVD hire.
Library Link
Library Link is a bus service which will pick you up from home and take you to your local library. The free minibus has wheelchair access and trained staff and WRVS volunteers are on hand to give assistance on and off the bus. You can choose your books, and then sit down to enjoy a coffee and a chat before being taken home again.
Home delivery service
The library service and WRVS volunteers operate a home delivery service for people who are housebound or unable to travel to their local library. A selection of your favourite books, audio books, cds or dvds can be delivered to your door.
If you are interested in signing up for either service, contact us using the details on the right.
Library2go
Library2go gives you 24hr access to hundreds of ebooks and audiobooks for free from the comfort of your home. We subscribe to three services all providing different formats so there's something to suit everyone's needs.
