Books in other languages

Edinburgh City Libraries have book collections in many different languages (including Gaelic). We also have a wide selection of dual language picture books for children. Search the library catalogue to find the right language books for you.

(To find books by language, use the More search options from the home page of the catalogue. Enter a keyword search term and then select a language from the drop-down list. Click on the search button at the bottom of the page.)

Items can be reserved free of charge and collected from your nearest library. If you're having difficulty finding books in your language, ask for help next time you're visiting your local library.
