Scientific Services is nationally accredited to provide a wide range of laboratory testing and scientific advisory services. 

Food analysis

We carry out a wide range of analytical tests on foods and raw materials. We are also able to provide a certification service to food manufacturers and exporters.

Asbestos monitoring

We provide a sampling service to identify the presence of asbestos, carry out site surveys, and undertake air tests to ensure harmful fibre levels are not present. 

Water analysis

We provide a chemical and microbiological testing service for a wide variety of water types, including drinking water, rivers and lochs and water supply systems.

Microbiological testing

We can carry out a wide range of microbiological tests on food, animal feeding stuffs, drinking water, air conditioning systems, consumer products and environmental material.
