Have your say
No decisions have been made. We are working with the affected communities before we carry out a formal consultation. No decisions can be made until a formal consultation has taken place.
We want to hear your thoughts on the initial proposals and listen to your suggestions so we can understand what is important to you before we progress to any formal consultation.
Your priorities will help shape any future proposal. We are using your feedback to see areas you would like further information about. We will update this page to respond to these requests when we can.
The deadline for comments is Thursday 29 March 2018.
Decisions from the Education, Children and Families Committee
Download decisions from the committeee meeting on 12 December 2017 below. Following these decisions we have extended the deadline for comments from 9 February to 29 March 2018.
Parent council focus groups
We have met with parent council representatives to discuss your feedback so far and to plan the best methods to engage with you further. We will run focus groups for invited parents at affected schools between 9 January and 9 February 2018.
Contact your parent council by 22 December 2017 if you would like to be part of these early discussions.
On 12 March 2018 we will update the Education, Children and Families Committee on the informal consultation. We will recommend what should happen next or if we need more time to discuss the proposals before we progress to a statutory consultation.
If we decide to take forward any part of the proposals, the next step would be a statutory consultation. This would include opportunities to feedback your views online and at public meetings.
