Council Byelaws

Register of Byelaws

Under the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 the Council has the power to make byelaws. The Council is under the obligation to keep a register of all byelaws.

The City of Edinburgh Council has two sets of byelaws - Prohibiting Consumption of Alcohol in Designated Public Places and the Edinburgh Tram Byelaws. You can download these below.
