Scottish Older People's Assembly

A voice for older people

The Scottish Older People's Assembly (SOPA) communicates between the Governments and Scotland's older people. The Assembly is a sounding board for policy affecting older people, it provides advice for Governments on identifying and responding to older people's needs and aspirations and gives feedback to Governments on the impact of policies and legislation.

See the Scottish Older People's Assembly website for details of its work and Committee.
