Developing the arts in Edinburgh

Funding opportunities

Arts Development work with the city's cultural sector to ensure that the arts play a vital and lasting role in Edinburgh.

We develop strategic policy, award cultural grants as well as offer advice on cultural projects. In partnership with Creative Scotland, we are pleased to announce the next round of the schemes follow. These schemes have been established to address current gaps in resources available to individual artists and makers.

The schemes are open to craft makers and visual artists of all ages and at any stage of their career, but must be outwith full time education.

You should be able to demonstrate a level of commitment to your practice and have achieved a body of work outwith formal education. Applicants must be Edinburgh based.
