Edinburgh vacant and derelict land survey

The Edinburgh vacant and derelict land survey is part of a national survey of vacant and derelict land in Scotland. The full Scottish survey is published by the Scottish Government. Information is collected by local authorities based on guidelines from the Scottish Government.

Report vacant or derelict land

Do you know of a site in your area that we did not include? Sites need to have been previously developed at some point and be at least 0.1 hectares (1,000 square metres) in size.

Site suggestions can be emailed to us, full details can be found on page 2 of this 2015 report. Please include as much information as you can about the site location.

The full national survey is available from the Scottish Government.
