The council is changing the way we pay clothing grants. If you qualify and have applied for a clothing grant you will receive a payment directly in to your bank account.
The eligible applications for clothing grants that have been received prior to 9 July 2017 have now been processed and the payments are due to reach bank accounts the week commencing Monday 17 July. The payment will appear on your bank statement as ‘clothing grant’.
It is our aim to pay eligible applications received after 9 July within two weeks of a properly completed application being received.
For applications to be processed before the start of the school year the application must be received by 31 July 2017.
Once we approve your award
We will send you a letter and notify your school of your award.
