Edinburgh Partnership Vision and Priorities
Vision and Outcomes
"Edinburgh is a thriving, successful and sustainable capital city, in which all forms of deprivation and inequality are reduced."
Action to deliver this vision will be concentrated on four high level outcomes outlined in the following diagram:

Our Outcomes
- Edinburgh's economy delivers increased investment, jobs and opportunities for all
- Edinburgh's citizens experience improved health and well-being with reduced inequalities in health
- Edinburgh's children and young people enjoy their childhood and fulfil their potential
- Edinburgh's communities are safer and have improved physical and social fabric
The Partnership wants improved outcomes in these areas to bring benefits to as many citizens as possible, to reduce poverty, inequality and disadvantage and provide a positive legacy for future generations.
The Edinburgh Partnership Single Outcome Agreement 2012-2015 sets out our vision and how we are going to deliver these outcomes. It also identifies a number of priorities where we must concentrate our efforts.
Our family of partnerships are responsible for delivering these priorities.
Why we have these priorities
You can find out why we have chosen most of our priorities on the Understanding Edinburgh pages. Understanding Edinburgh presents the evidence base that informs the outcomes of the Edinburgh Partnership. It is intended that over time we will include the full range of thematic information which supports all our outcomes.
