Request a review
If you disagree with our decision on your Scottish Welfare Fund application, we can explain the decision to you on the phone.
To ask for a review, email or write to us within 20 working days of the decision.
You should include
- your signature
- the date and reference number from your letter
- the reasons you do not agree with the decision
- details of on any changes to your circumstances since the application
- relevant information which you did not give us when you made your application.
Request a second review
If you still disagree with our decision, you can ask the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman (SPSO) to look at your case.
Ask the SPSO for a review online or call on 0800 014 7299.
You must do this within one month of the first review decision date.
