Paying for respite care

We work out your charge in a similar way to a permanent care home placement. However there are some differences.

We do not include your home if you own one.

We do not include from your income

• Attendance Allowance or Disability Living Allowance
• £15.00 per week if you are not responsible for household bills
• £30.00 per week if you are responsible for household bills.
