Green Pencil Award

Last year's awards evening took place on Friday 25 November 2011 at the Central Reference Library on George IV Bridge where the prestigious Green Pencil Trophy was presented to the overall winner James Macnab for his poem  'The Last Christmas Tree'.  James is in P7 at Cargilfield School.

As a reward for their efforts all 20 finalists were invited to attend a creative writing workshop at the Central  Library on 22 February with our Green Pencil Poet, Anita Govan.
