We provide a range of talks and workshops to keep you up to date about waste and inspire you to take action.

Talks

Waste talks can include:

• The Council's recycling and waste prevention plans to reduce landfill involving local communities
• Ways to reduce, reuse and recycle your waste
• Details about the Waste Action Grant Programme
• The Zero Waste Plan to make our local neighbourhoods zero waste societies
• Eco foot printing and how it contributes to environmental problems

Workshops

We also provide a range of interactive workshops:

• Real nappy information - In the UK 8 million disposable nappies are sent to landfill every day. Talk to volunteers from the real nappy Project for expert advice
• Arts and crafts reusing scrap items and recycled products
