Edinburgh's Licensing Board

Edinburgh's Licensing Board is responsible for regulating the sale of alcohol to the public and certain gambling activities, by issuing alcohol licences and betting and gambling permits.

Festival extended hours 2019

The board’s festival extended hours period operates from 2 to 26 August 2019 inclusive. 

Premises with festive seasonal variations in their operating plans may trade an additional two hours added to the terminal hour on Friday 2 August, with the last extra two hours added to the terminal hour on Monday 26 August.

Any other premises seeking additional hours during the festivals period would have to submit applications for extended hours in the usual way

Financial statement 2017/18

The board considered and approved the terms of a financial statement showing income and expenditure for the 2017/18 financial year at its meeting in November 2018 .
