Licences and permits applications

Appeal a decision

There is often a right of appeal to a Sheriff against decisions made about whether or not a licence is granted and about any conditions that have been attached to the licence.

The Sheriff can reverse or confirm our decision or send the application back to us to be considered again.

As there is a strict timescale for appeals, you should contact a solicitor as soon as possible if you want to discuss an appeal.
