Paying for your licence or permit

Our directory of licences and permits contains the prices of each licence. You can also download full lists below.

Different fees apply to civic licences for those operating within the City Centre. You can view a map of ward 11 to see the boundary or the City Centre.

You can also check for a specific address using our interactive map.

Please note that the application fee is not refunded if your application is unsuccessful.

Paying online

For some licences you can make and pay for an application online

Paying by cheque

You can return your completed application with cheque or postal order for the application fee to the address.

Please be aware it may take a few days for us to receive your application by post.

Paying at the Customer Hub

The Customer Hub is located at 249 High Street. Bring your application form, and any other required documents as set out in the application pack for your particular licence. You will also need your fee in the form of a cheque or postal order.
