Travelling to Edinburgh

Most train services to Edinburgh end at Edinburgh Waverley rail station. The rail station is at the east end of Princes Street in the city centre. Visit ScotRail for help planning a trip by train. 

Bus

Most buses to Edinburgh arrive at the Edinburgh Bus Station. The bus station is on St Andrew Square in the city centre.

Car

Air

Edinburgh Airport is in the west of Edinburgh. You can travel from the airport to the city centre by tram, bus, taxi or car. Visit Edinburgh Airport for information.

There are a number of landing fields suitable for helicopters in Edinburgh, including at Edinburgh Airport and in the city centre at the Prestonfield House.
