How we deal with a complaint

Please download our Complaints Procedure below for details. We follow the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman's code. We will do our best to resolve your complaint and we will make sure you know what to expect at each stage.

We will respond to you within five working days if we can, or contact you if we need more time.

You can download our recent complaints performance figures below.

If you are not satisfied

You can ask us to review your complaint. We will then appoint a senior Council officer to do this. We will tell you who this is and respond to you within 20 working days.

If your complaint is complex, we may need more time, in which case we'll contact you to agree a different date.

If you're still not satisfied

As a final stage you can contact the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman.
