Compliments, enquiries, suggestions or complaints
We welcome all your feedback on our services, including comments, complaints and suggestions.
Some of our services use separate forms to take complaints. You may wish to
- make a social care complaint
- make an education complaint
- complain about a Councillor to the Commissioner for Ethical Standards.
If your feedback isn't covered from any of the above, you can complete the form below without registering or signing in. If you want to make a named complaint, you will need to register or sign in, and then return on the page.
For issues check our help page or contact
You can also contact us by phone or email, or write to us at the address below
- Monday to Thursday between 8.30am and 5pm
- Friday from 8.30am until 3.40pm.
If you need to contact us about an emergency or something urgent outside these hours, please call on 0131 200 2000.
When behaviour makes it difficult for us to manage complaints
Sometimes the way someone acts makes it difficult for us to deal with their complaint. Our policy on Managing Customer Contact in a Fair and Positive Way explains what we do when this happens.
