Portobello Shop Local Competition

The winners of the competition have been drawn, with 1st place going to Emma Thomas. Emma is a Portobello resident, and was drawn from a number of correct entries to receive the first prize fund. Congratulations to Emma, as well as the 2nd and 3rd place entrants. Remember to keep shopping local and support our independent retailers! 

About the competition

To celebrate Independent Retailer Month, we ran a competition to promote local businesses in Portobello. It featured 12 questions relating to businesses on Portobello High Street to encourage the public to interact with shop owners and staff to find the answers.

The competition ran from Wednesday, 4 July to 12 noon on Friday, 27 July.
