Town centre co-ordinators

Building on the results of the town centre survey undertaken in 2010 and health check indicators, there is now a strategy for Edinburgh 's 9 town centres.

Working in partnership with other Council departments, the Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Small Business, Essential Edinburgh , BIDs Scotland and the Scottish Government, the 3 Town Centre Co-ordinators will:

• Deliver projects against individual town centre action plans
• Focus activity on low cost, high impact initiatives to revitalise the centres and strengthen the sense of community.
