Track your bus

Using the Council's Bustracker system you can can find when your bus is coming using your PC or mobile.  You can search by street, postcode or by entering the code displayed on the bus stop.

You can check on your PC by visiting the Bustracker website.

If you have an iPhone you can download the Bustracker app by searching the App Store for "EdinBus".

If you have a mobile with the Android Operating System you can download the Bustracker app by searching the Android Market for "My Bus Edinburgh".  Full details on the My Bus Edinburgh app are available.

If you have another type of mobile phone with internet access, you can log on to mobile.mybustracker.co.uk.

Please note:

During periods of severe weather Bustracker experiences significant increases in visitor numbers, particularly at peak times. This may cause the site to be slow or not display information.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you wish to get in touch regarding the website or report a faulty Bustracker sign please contact the Council's Bustracker team.

If you wish to get in touch regarding the times on the screens or bus timetables please contact Lothian Buses.  During severe weather conditions Lothian Bus services may work on revised and diverted routes which can cause issues with the information displayed on the screens.

The Bustracker smartphone applications are developed by private individuals with the support of the City of Edinburgh Council.  If you wish to get in contact regarding these please contact the developers directly.
