By plane
Edinburgh International Airport is located on the west side of Edinburgh. The Edinburgh Airport website provides details on how to travel to and from the airport and city centre by bus, taxi and car.
By bus
Most buses arrive in Edinburgh at the Edinburgh Bus Station. This is located by St Andrew Square in Edinburgh's city centre. Information on the bus station, including it's services and facilities, are available on our Bus Station information page.
By train
Most train services will terminate at Edinburgh Waverley Station. The station is located in the centre of Edinburgh and is the largest train station in the UK outside London. Further information on Waverley Station is available from Network Rail, the station owners.
By car
Edinburgh is easily accessible by road. Parking is available in two forms - Pay and Display parking (on street) and Multi-storey parking (off street). As Edinburgh's a historic city it's often easier to use one of our Park and Ride sites. These allow you to park your car and take a bus or train into the city centre.
