Children's Practice Teams

Our Early Intervention Teams cover:

• Children referred by the Reporter to Children's Hearings for assessment reports
• Children at risk of being excluded from school/accommodated away from home
• Children Looked After at Home i.e. on supervision requirements through a Children's Hearing
• Additional work may also include supporting kinship care placements; children involved in anti-social behaviour processes; and families with no recourse to public funds

Initial enquiries or referrals to the Children's Practice Team service should be made through Children and Families Social Care Direct.
