Street lighting

When you report a street lighting fault to us please have ready:

• the street light column number
• where the light is (the area, town or street)
• what the problem is

These details will help us to make the repair more quickly. 

Our service standard means we aim to repair faults within 7 days.  Please note that this can take longer if the fault lies with the electrical supply and we need the assistance of the power supply company to make repairs.

Managing and maintaining a stock of over 55,500 lighting columns and all of the lit road signs in our city is an enormous task. Our lighting maintenance team will attend to over 21,000 faults in a typical year.
