Renewing your permit
You can renew your permit on-line. Before you start find out your renewal price using the permit price calculator or on the residents permit pricing page. Prices changed on 1 April 2013. Please ensure you enter the correct price or your application may be delayed. If you are a disabled badge holder we are currently unable to accept online renewals for exempt permits.
Find out the zone or area you live in with our interactive map. This will help you apply for the right permit.
Do you live within the CPZ? This includes zones 1-8, N1-N5 and S1-S4. You need to complete the residents' application form to apply for your permit.
Do you live in a Priority Parking area? If you live in the southern Grange (B1), South Morningside (B2), Arboretum/Kinnear (B3), Craigleith (B4) or Blinkbonny (B5) you need our Priority Parking application form.
When you apply for your permit, you need to show us some documents. These must prove that you are the main driver of the vehicle and that you live within the area. Please note that we can accept photocopies of your documents. You can also find some useful residents' permits definitions.
