Parking - zones and permits

Identify which zone is relevant for your application, as terms and conditions for permits vary across zones. 

Apply for/renew a Residents' Parking Permit

If you live within the city's Controlled Parking Zone then you can apply for a residents' parking permit.

Apply for/renew a Visitors' Parking Permit

If you live in an extended zone (S1-S4 and N1-N5) you can use visitors' parking permits. One permit lasts for 90 minutes but more can be used for longer stays.

Apply for/renew a Retailers' Parking Permit

You can apply for a retailers' parking permit to park in permit and shared use places in the zone where the premises are located.

Apply for/renew a Trades' Parking Permit

Our trades' parking permit allows you to park in public, permit and shared use parking places in the city centre.
