Vehicle Removals

You should contact the police on 0131 311 3131 if your vehicle is missing. The Council may have relocated your vehicle or removed it to the car pound. 

To release your vehicle from the pound you need two forms of identification and pay the charge. Take your registration documents or driving licence along with proof of your current address to the pound. Acceptable items to prove your address are:

• A household bill.
• Your Council tax book.
• A bank or credit card statement.
