How to pay a parking ticket/fine

Online

You can pay online using our pay a parking ticket online form. Please have the following information available:

the parking ticket number
your vehicle registration number
a valid credit or debit card

You can also view any photographs taken at the time before you pay.

By telephone

You can call our secure 24-hour service on 0845 230 2300 to pay by debit or credit card. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Maestro and Delta.

In person

Pay in person at the City of Edinburgh Council Collections Office, 249 High Street. This is located beside the City Chambers.

Opening hours:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Tuesday: 10:00am - 4:30pm
Friday: 8:30am - 3:00pm

By post

Send your cheque or postal order, payable to The City of Edinburgh Council, to:

Parking Services, The City of Edinburgh Council, PO Box 4660, Worthing, BN11 9FR

Please write the parking ticket number on the back of your cheque or postal order. For security reasons you should not send cash. Please note that you must leave time for your payment to reach us and that items may be lost or delayed by post. If you would like a receipt please also enclose a stamped addressed envelope.
