Cashless Parking

Cashless parking on your mobile phone

Pay for parking by mobile phone

Did you know that 5p and 10p coins will soon be changing? Find out about the changes to coin payments

You can avoid any inconvenience by paying for your parking with your mobile phone. You can call RingGo now on 0131 516 4000 to start paying for your parking. All you need is a mobile phone and a credit or debit card. You don't even need to display a voucher after you've paid. It simple, easy to use and you can register online.

Benefits of cashless parking:

  • You don't have to visit a machine if you know the street location code. You can also find these online.
  • Top up remotely. If your meeting is running late, you can buy more parking time to avoid a parking ticket. (So long as you do not exceed the maximum stay period).
  • You don't need to display a voucher. Parking Attendants check which vehicles have paid for parking on their handheld units.
  • Calls to the new service are cheaper as it's a local number. Your call may even be free if it's included in your 'bundle of minutes.'
  • Avoid any hassle with the changes to 5p and 10p coins.

You need to register with RingGo before you can use the service. You can register online or at the time of your first call. Usual parking regulations apply in public parking places whilst using RingGo.
