Business Continuity Management

Business Continuity Management (BCM), sometimes referred to as disaster recovery, is the strategic and tactical capability of an organisation to plan for, and respond to, incidents and disruptions. It enables an organisation to maintain its ability to deliver key products / services and objectives at pre-defined levels.

We have a statutory duty to make sure that the organisation copes well with every incident and is able to return to normal as soon as possible, afterwards.  We do this through business continuity planning to help us prepare for every eventuality and minimise disruption when incidents actually happen. In addition, events and activities aimed at enhancing community resilience are organised through the Edinburgh Resilience Forum.

What would happen if your organisation suddenly had to operate without your premises, suppliers, IT/telecomms or even your staff?  We can help you to protect your business by providing best practice advice on Business Continuity Management.
