Variation of Premises Licence

A premises licence variation application is required to:
- Vary any of the conditions attached to a licence
- Vary any of the information in the operating plan for premises
- Vary the layout plan of the premises
- Vary any of the information in the licence
An application can only be made by the premises licence holder.
Certain applications for variation are termed 'minor' variations and different procedures apply. Minor variations are:
- A variation of the layout plan which is not inconsistent with the operating plan
- Variations to restrict terms on which children allowed entry
- Variations to information relating to premises manager including substitution of new premises manager
Do I need a variation of premises licence?
Yes. If you want to vary any of the matters set out above.
